The Chequers’ is the ideal base for a circular walk along the sea wall, with a warm stove awaiting in winter, and a walled garden in summer. The blackboard a la carte menu changes with the seasons with a range of interesting bar snacks, barbeques, and often live music on the front patio at weekends during the summer. Real ales are a speciality along with a well chosen wine list.
